Hi there! I am a PhD student in Learning Sciences & Technologies at the University of Pennsylvania currently exploring accessible constructionist learning technologies and K-12 AI/ML education with Dr. Yasmin Kafai. My interests revolve around themes of materiality and identity in education — focusing on the mindful design of learning environments, the impact making has on learners' sense of belonging, and the participatory design of technologies that support creative learning.

Previously, I have worked in/with various museums as an educator, where I designed and facilitated a collection of STEAM and design workshops, drop-ins, and media for learners of all ages and backgrounds. I have also helped develop and teach graduate courses on emerging educational technologies, multimodal learning analytics, digital fabrication and making, designing learning spaces, and critical disability studies in design.

I hold a Bachelor of Architecture with minors in Human-Computer Interaction and Design for Learning from Carnegie Mellon University, and a Master of Education in Learning Design, Innovation, and Technology from Harvard University.

Please reach out if you would like to chat or collaborate!
